There will definitely be some Origins related events hosted by Newsong / Mosaic here in SoCal. We'll announce them as soon as details are finalized.

As to your other question about a church being involved in this network -- that's unclear at this moment, but we're talking it through. For now, this is a people network. We wanted to create a community of Jesus followers who share the same passions and want to do this together. We are creating a little "badge" so that if you or your church want to "identify" with the network, you can put it on your website.

John, I didn't know about the Los Angeles location. Origins definitely has a presence here, with Newsong and the various Mosaic churches around. Maybe this is a way too early question, but I'm curious if there are Origins specific changes or events that are going on with Newsong (and the other churches).

What does it mean for a church to be involved in this network? That might be something that gives other communities some examples and inspiration.

newsong is in three locations in southern california -- irvine, north orange county (fullerton), and los angeles (culver city).
